How to create a “Journey Intro” Template | After effect

Welcome to the “Journey Intro” Template

Template designed for all After FX users.
Output 1920x1080HD – 29.97fps
Fonts Used – Life Is So Wonderful: http://www.dafont.com/life-is-so-wonderful.font & Open Sans Condensed Light https://www.google.com/fonts#UsePlace:use/Collection:Open+Sans+Condensed

This template is very easy to setup.
When you open the After FX file you will be in the Demo Movie Comp.
• Start with collecting 10 images or videos on your computer.
• Next, inside the Drop Images Here folder, replace the footage for all default images with your new images.
• Next open each Sequence Comp by double clicking on it. Inside you have your bottom Slide layer. (Which you can replace if you want a different one, select the slide layer, hold ALT key and drag and drop your desired slide on to the selected slide layer)
• There is a Title comp for each sequence that you can double click on and make the text what you want. Each title has a stroke line effect layer. Simple click that layer and hit the M button to pull up your mask shape, all you need to do is drag the left side of the mask shape to the desired length you need to create the full rectangle around your titles. Once you have accomplished this distance, click on the subtext layer and hit M again. Now do the same thing for this mask shape but make it so it appears on screen from within the rectangle line that goes around the full title. This gives it the effect of fading in behind the rectangle line.
• From the sequence comp you can drag your title around and place it or scale it to your liking.
• Follow these steps for all sequences.

Once you have completed your edits you are ready to render.
From your final COMP, select “Composition” from the top menu, select Add to Render Queue; adjust your output settings and your movie’s destination.
